Rain, Rain Go Away—Alumni Band Performs at Free Concert

Also, check out the Burlington County Footlighters Intern Company's production of "One Giant Leap."

The township will keep it in the family Thursday night, with a free concert performance from the Cinnaminson High School Alumni Band. The band will perform big popular arrangements of movie and show tunes, patriotic favorites and other crowd pleasers.

The show, part of the township's ongoing summer concert series, starts at 7 p.m. in Wood Park—assuming Mother Nature cooperates. In the event of rain (there's about a 50 percent chance), the concert will be held in the auditorium at Cinnaminson Middle School.

There's two more free concerts this summer, plus a movie in the park the weekend after Labor Day.

Bonus entertainment: Burlington County Footlighters will present One Giant Leap, a completely original show written and performed by the Intern Company, the theater company's young adult group. The show begins at 8 p.m. and runs throughout the weekend.
