Train Delays Coming For Emergency Drill In Burlington Co.
Although the drill will be contained to a small area, it will impact trains throughout the rail line.
BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Some River Line trains will be delayed on Saturday as first responders conduct an emergency-response drill.
The drill will simulate a transportation incident at the River Line's Rancocas Bridge, which connects Delanco and Riverside.
All southbound trains will operate 15 minutes later than regularly scheduled from about 6 a.m. to noon., according to NJ Transit.

The drill, which begins at 8 a.m., will take about 3 hours. It will be contained to Rancocas Bridge, and the immediate vicinity is not open to the public. But residents and passengers will see an increased presence of emergency personnel in the area.
NJ Transit police will conduct the drill with various first-responding agencies. The state agency's police department annually conducts multiple drills and training sessions throughout New Jersey.
