Pedestrian Death, Jackknifed Truck On Route 130 In Cinnaminson

The separate incidents occurred only hours apart around the same intersection of the highway.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — A pedestrian was killed in a crash Friday morning on Route 130 in Cinnaminson, officials told Patch. Hours later, a jackknifed truck ran off the roadway at the same intersection.

The initial crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Route 130 South at Riverton Road, leading to significant closures on the southbound side as authorities investigate the scene.

Cinnaminson Police Chief William J. Obuchowski told Patch that a pedestrian died in the collision. But additional information was unavailable as of this writing.

Route 130 South has been closed for the crash investigation.

In a separate incident later Friday morning, a jackknifed tractor-trailer ran off of Route 130 Northbound at Riverton Road, under the pedestrian bridge.

Two of three northbound lanes are closed as of 11 a.m., according to 511NJ. Expect delays of 5 to 10 minutes in the area.
