These 3 Events Are Coming To Burlington County This Weekend

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in Burlington County, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.

Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns will perform live music on the lawn at Laurita Winery in New Egypt on Friday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Tickets are $20 if they are purchased online in advance. For more than a decade, Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns have been entertaining crowds from Boston to Key West and all the way to Pittsburgh. During that time, they have created quite a following, received numerous awards and opened up for and/or played with some of music’s biggest names ever, as well as being featured at many national sporting events. A walking ghost tour of Historic Medford Village guided by experienced psychic mediums from The Center, Life in Balance from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday night. These mediums will guide participants through three different haunted locations using paranormal detection instruments. No tricks, or theater; just Medford’s authentic history waiting to be seen and heard. This year is a little different than last- ticket holders meet a new medium in each location! This allows a more immersive experience for guests, and it also allows the mediums to be in one place and get to know the spirits in their location better. In November 1777, Burlington County once again became embroiled in The American Revolution. The British occupied Philadelphia and Burlington County was open country for both armies. Hear which famous generals kept their headquarters here and learn about the mysterious Hermit of Mount Holly during the Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences’ presentation about The American Revolution in Burlington County. Masks are required. This program will also take place virtually on Zoom at 7 p.m. Nov. 17. Registration is required.
