Water Main Break Delaying Traffic On Route 130 In Cinnaminson

Drivers in the area should use caution.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — A water main broke Monday on Route 130 in Cinnaminson, prompting lane closures that have backed up traffic.

It broke around 8:30 a.m. on Route 130 South, according to New Jersey American Water.

As of 2:30 p.m. Monday, two of the highway's southbound lanes are closed in the area south of Riverton Road. Expect delays of 5 to 10 minutes, 511NJ said.

In the morning, NJAW estimated that repairs would take around seven hours.

Nearby residents may get discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure or no water during repairs and just after they're completed.

"For discoloration, run cold water at the lowest level of your house," NJAW says. "For cloudy water, run water at the highest level of your house. The condition should clear after 3 to 5 minutes of running water."
