Where, When to Vote in Special Senate Election
Six candidates will vie for a chance to claim late Sen. Frank Lautenberg's seat this fall.

Maybe you forgot, but there's an election Tuesday.
Six candidates—four Democrats, two Republicans—will vie for a chance to claim late Sen. Frank Lautenberg's seat in a special primary election. Lautenberg passed away in June at 89 years old.
The four Democratic candidates are: Newark Mayor Cory Booker, the frontrunner in the election; U.S. Rep. Rush Holt; Sheila Oliver, speaker of the state General Assembly; and U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone.

The Democratic candidates held their final debate in Newark last week.
Republican candidates Alieta Eck, a Somerset County physician, and former Bogota mayor/gubernatorial candidate Steve Lonegan will also be on the ballot Tuesday.

The polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday and will remain open until 8 p.m at the following locations.
- District 1 — East Riverton Community Center, 905 James Street
- Districts 2 and 14 — Eleanor Rush School, 1200 Wynwood Drive
- Districts 3 and 4 — Cinnaminson High School, 1197 Riverton Road
- Districts 5, 8, 20 — Cinnaminson Middle School, 312 N. Forklanding Road
- Districts 6, 15, 16 — Cinnaminson Community Center, 902 Manor Road
- District 7 — Cinnaminson Fire Co. #1, 1725 Cinnaminson Avenue
- Districts 9 and 12 — Cinnaminson Fire Co. #2, 1900 Taylors Lane
- Districts 10, 11, 13 — New Albany School, 2701 New Albany Road
- Districts 17, 18, 19 — St. Charles Borromeo, 2500 Branch Pike
