Clark COVID Update, Health Screenings Available

Clark updated its COVID numbers on Tuesday, and the township will offer free health screenings for residents next week.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Township updated its COVID-19 numbers this week and the Health Department will be offering free health screenings, according to an announcement from the town.

The community saw an additional 107 confirmed cases of COVID-19 between Jan. 17 and Jan. 23. This is a significant decrease in cases since last week's report of 270 additional cases between Jan. 8 and Jan. 16.

There have been a total of 568 cases in Clark in the last four weeks.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) provide the latest updates about the coronavirus.

In addition, the Clark Health Department in conjunction with Holy Redeemer Health Care will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings on Thursday, Feb. 3 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Clark Recreation Cafeteria located at 430 Westfield Avenue.

A 2-hour fast is recommended before the screenings. Pre-registration is not required.
