Clark Police Increases Patrols At Clark Schools After Texas Shooting
Both uniformed patrol officers, as well as plain-clothed juvenile detectives will be dispersed throughout all Clark Schools, police said.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police announced it will increase its police presence at Clark Schools following the mass shooting that took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday.
Both uniformed patrol officers, as well as plain-clothed juvenile detectives will be dispersed throughout all Clark Schools, police said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
"At this time, there are no threats to any of our schools and this increase of security is only precautionary," Clark Police wrote.

If parents have any questions or concerns, the department said they can reach out to either Detective Soos or Detective of Detore of the Juvenile Bureau.
Other Union County public schools, such as Westfield and Cranford, have also announced that more officers will be present at the districts.
