Smoke In Garwood ShopRite Caused By Broken Exhaust Fan
Fire officials noticed the rooftop exhaust fan wasn't working, causing the smoke in the grocery store.
GARWOOD, NJ — Garwood fire officials responded to a call about smoke in the Shop Rite seafood department on Wednesday morning.
The call came in at 7:40 a.m. and firefighters went to the roof to find the exhaust fan was no longer functioning. There was no reported injuries and shoppers were let back into the store after firefighters ventilated the store.
