GARWOOD, NJ — Garwood fire officials responded to a call about smoke in the Shop Rite seafood department on Wednesday morning.The call came in at 7:40 a.m. and firefighters went to the roof to find the exhaust fan was no longer functioning. There was no reported injuries and shoppers were let back into the store after firefighters ventilated the store.
