Flipped Tractor Trailer, NJ Turnpike Crash Near Goethals Bridge: DOT

ELIZABETH, NJ - A motor vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Union County has prompted commuting delays in the area Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 2:38 a.m., there’s a crash and overturned tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound entrance ramp Interchange 13 - I-278/Goethals Bridge in Elizabeth, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are closed and detoured, the agency said.
