Girl Still Missing In Union County, Church Plans Prayer Service

Ivy Alave was last seen by her parents at around 1 p.m. last Thursday when she said she was going to Starbucks in Westfield.

GARWOOD, NJ — It's been five days since juvenile Ivy Alave has gone missing in Union County. The Church of Saint Anne is holding a mass and prayer vigil on Wednesday dedicated to Ivy to pray for her safe return.

The community will be joining together from 7 to 8 p.m. with the family of Ivy Alave, a juvenile, who was last seen in surveillance footage at Newark Penn Station on the afternoon of Thursday, Sept 4.

Different surveillance video also shows her earlier in the day near 17 N. Ave. W in Cranford at around 1:30 p.m.

She is five feet tall, weighs around 135 pounds, and has both brown hair and eyes. Alave was last seen wearing dark gray sweatpants, Crocs shoes, a dark green hooded sweatshirt, and a black backpack.

She was last seen by her parents at around 1 p.m. on Thursday when she said she was going to Starbucks in Westfield. Ivy never went back to her house, and numerous attempts were made to try and reach her on her cell phone.
