How Many Inches Of Snow Is Clark Getting, And When?

Forecasters predict Union County will get several inches of snow, beginning Friday and going into Saturday.

CLARK, NJ — Snow flurries have already started this morning, but heavier snow is expected to come Friday night into Saturday.

Union County is under a Winter Storm Watch, with five to ten inches of snow predicted throughout the county. The storm is expected to begin around 7 p.m. on Friday and continue until 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The Clark Police Department said to anticipate five to eight inches of snow in Clark. They said residents should remove their vehicles from the streets in order to make the Clark DPW job of plowing the roads easier and safer.

The Police also advise residents to avoid unnecessary travel during the storm. Additionally, information about power outages (should they arise) can be found on the PSEG Website.

Friday Afternoon
A 30 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Light northeast wind.

Friday Night
Snow, mainly after 10pm. Low around 18. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. North wind 7 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Saturday
Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 23. Wind chill values between zero and 5. Blustery, with a north wind 20 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Saturday Night
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 11. Wind chill values between -5 and 5. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
