Man Killed While Trying To Cross Route 22 In Union County: Report
The 35-year-old was hit by a car and killed while trying to walk across Route 22 on Saturday, according to NJ.com.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — A 35-year-old man from Newark was hit by a car and killed while trying to walk across Route 22 in Union County on Saturday, according to NJ.com.
Juan Badillio-Gonzalez was hit while walking near 2500 Route 22 East in Union at around 7:45 p.m., Union Township Police told NJ.com.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he died of his injuries, according to police. Officials told NJ.com that the driver stopped and cooperated with police.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to to call the Union police traffic bureau at 908-851-5070.
