Maplewood Glee Club Brings Music, Friendship, and Fun to Spring Concer

Popular men's chorus celebrates camaraderie and, yes, Star Wars on "May the fourth."

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… the Maplewood Glee Club discovered the power of music and friendship. Now, they invite you to experience both at their annual spring concert, With a Little Help From Our Friends, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 4:00 PM at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Maplewood, NJ.

With over 60 members from across North Jersey, the Glee Club’s concert will feature a range of songs celebrating friendship and support, including hits from Carole King, Journey, Joe Cocker, The Four Tops, The Jackson 5, Wicked, Toy Story, and even Star Wars in honor of “May the Fourth” (as in May the Fourth be with you).

“There’s a saying that ‘friendship makes the music, and music makes the friendship,’” says Glee Club president Josh Adler. “That’s what this show is all about. We can’t wait to share this afternoon with our friends on stage, in the audience, and at home.”
