UNION COUNTY, NJ — For the third year in a row, Union County College students will see no increase to their tuition and fees for the 2022 to 2023 academic year.

With the cost of goods and services on the rise due to COVID-19, the College's Board of Trustees announced Tuesday that student tuition will stay the same in the coming year.

Full-time students taking 12 to 18 credits and living in Union County will pay the same rate of $2,640.50, and further tuition aid is available. Students that enroll in at least six credits and have an adjusted gross income of less than $65,000 may be eligible for New Jersey's College Opportunity Grant.

“Providing an affordable education when people are struggling financially with rising costs is a priority at Union," President Dr. Margaret M. McMenamin stated. "We have been as lean as possible to avoid an increase on tuition for our students. At Union, students are number one and keeping our tuition and fees flat for three years, even during a pandemic, is one of the ways we exemplify that."

Fall registration at Union County College opens on March 21. The application can be found
online at www.ucc.edu.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to craft their ideal schedule. The fall semester will begin Sept. 7, 2022.
