Unique Animals + Ice Cream At Clark Take Your Child To The Library Day

Six unique critters will stop by Clark on Sunday for Take Your Child to the Library Day. Friends of the Library will also serve ice cream.

CLARK, NJ — Families are invited to celebrate libraries and learn about animals at an upcoming "Take Your Child to the Library Day" event in Clark.

The library said six different unique creatures will be there — which animals will come depends on how big the crowd is.

The Friends of the Library will also serve ice cream after the meet-and-greet with the animals.

The event is Sunday, Feb. 19 in the Ayers Room at the Clark Public Library, beginning at 2 p.m. Click here to register.

Clark residents will have priority registration until two days before the event, the library said. Non-residents will be placed on the "pending waitlist" until that time.

Children who check out a book while they are at the event will be entered into a raffle for a Barnes & Noble gift card, the library said.

The Clark Library is at 303 Westfield Avenue in Clark.
