Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center Celebrates Partnerships, Service
The center's signature "Expect Change" luncheon returned for its eighth year.

The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center's signature “Expect Change” luncheon returned for its 8th year, celebrating a year of tremendous service, program innovations, and exciting partnerships. The event also honored community partners who have been crucial supporters of The Salvation Army's ongoing efforts to provide service and love to those in need throughout the Camden community.

"Today we get to celebrate our community partners — the people that have made a profound difference on our work, and a profound difference on Camden," said Major Keith Maynor of The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center.
The event, presented by New Jersey American Water and U.S. Facilities, highlighted the Camden Kroc Center's work during the past year, including providing more than 80,000 food-insecure individuals with free groceries, distributing more than 12,000 toys during Christmas, and introducing new, innovative programs like ESports competitive video gaming, a 32-foot rock climbing wall named “Mount Kroc”, a professional 9-hole disc golf course, and martial arts for all ages.

The following community partners were honored for their valued commitment to making the Camden Kroc Center's work possible:
Wells Fargo Foundation– Outstanding Foundation Partner of the Year
United States Cold Storage – Outstanding Corporate Partner of the Year
Camden County Police Department – Outstanding Community Partner of the Year
New Jersey Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club – Outstanding Community Champions of the Year
All proceeds from the annual luncheon support Kroc Center scholarships, which provide individuals with access to the Kroc Center and its programs to ensure that everyone has opportunities to grow their natural gifts and talents.
