Shooting Suspects Sought, Descriptions Released

The Friday afternoon shooting in Collingswood injured a Camden man.

As Friday’s remains hospitalized in stable condition, police are on the hunt for the gunman and an accomplice.

Authorities also are investigating if the shooting was gang-related.

Witness accounts from the scene are assisting police in who they’re searching for, according to the county prosecutor. said the victim, a 27-year-old from Camden, was arguing with another man from Camden, who was driving an off-white crossover or small SUV.

The driver crossed the street to talk with the passenger of a brown or pewter metallic-toned 2008 or 2009 Dodge Charger. The driver then returned to the victim and shot him in both legs.

Both vehicles fled the scene.

The shooter is described as an African American man, 6-foot-2 and 300 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket and dark pants, and possibly a white T-shirt. Witnesses said he has a long beard and close cropped hair.

The passenger in the Dodge Charger is described as 5-foot-9, overweight and wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt and black pants.
