PSEG says 10,700 homes in New Jersey are without power, with Camden County hit the hardest in the tri-county area.
It was rough out there Thursday night. A huge band of thunderstorms—complete with some amazing lightning shows—hit southern New Jersey this evening.Â
At 9:30 p.m., PSEG reported that Camden County led the state in power outages, with 2,500 homes in need of service.
The utilities company urges customers to follow its Twitter feed for the latest information and offers these reminders.

- Report downed wires immediately and with the nearest street location information to 800-436-7734.
- Report power outages to the PSE&G Customer Service line at 1-800-436-PSEG.
Yet before the skies opened up, ominous clouds hung overhead, providing some great photo opportunities.
