CRANFORD, NJ - Meet Darla! She has been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"This is Darla. She wants attention all the time. Her favorite thing is to sit on the front lawn and greet everyone that walks by with a wagging tail and lots of licks! The neighborhood has watched her grow from a tiny puppy to a gangly adolescent. Who knows how big she can be?"

Do you think your pet should be Cranford's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing russ.crespolini@patch.com with subject line "Cranford Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
