Floraphile Garden Club of Cranford Garage & Plant Sale Fundraiser

With Mother’s Day fast approaching, wouldn’t it be great to find Mom, Grandma, Auntie, all the ladies on the list, a special, one-of-a-kind gift and support a good cause?! Well you can, on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00AM-2:00PM, the Floraphile Garden Club of Cranford will be hosting their Garage Sale/Plant Sale Fundraiser at 469 Brookside Ct. in Cranford. The Floraphiles have created special succulent planters for the occasion! Come on out to find a great selection of plants, vintage jewelry, household goods, clothes, toys and much more! This a rain or shine event! Proceeds from this fundraiser support the Floraphile Garden Club and their involvement in numerous community service projects.

Founded in 1950, the Floraphile Garden Club has been an active and integral part of the Cranford community for over 70 years. We have members of all ages and gardening abilities. Community service is one of the core tenets of the group. Besides giving back to the First Aid Squad, members participate in the yearly clean-up and beautification of Girl Scout Park, Orange Ave. Pool and the Cranford Community Center. The Floraphiles have also offered horticultural therapy programs and have started hosting garden workshops for seniors and now youth programs through Cranford’s Recreation & Parks Department. Members participate in many exciting workshops, informative presentations, charitable projects and garden tours.
