Looking For A Sweet Escape? Check Out This Tasting Tour In Cranford
Downtown Cranford is hosting a self-guided tasting tour of all things sweet — from homemade cheesecake to baklava, ice cream and more.

CRANFORD, NJ — Thursday is going to be extra sweet in Cranford, as residents are invited to take part in a self-guided tasting tour of sweet treats in downtown restaurants, bakeries and more.
Over 15 local business will be participating in the Sweet Escape on Thursday from 3 to 4 p.m. From cheesecake to baklava, homemade brownies, dragon popcorn and ice cream sandwiches, the tour will offer a plethora of delicious baked goods.
According to Downtown Cranford, treats cost $4 each and cash is appreciated. People are also encourage to snap photos as they sample the treats. Every photo that is emailed to DMC@cranfordnj.org will automatically enter you for a change to win a $25 Downtown Cranford gift card.

In the email, people should include their name and the locations they visited. The more treats people try, the more chances they have to win.
The local businesses taking part in the Sweet Escape include: Ambeli, Better Me Juicery, Breadsmith, Cake Artst Café, Delice Macarons, Fresh Press Juise Co., Garlic Rose, Marino's, Old City Grill, Papa Ganache, Patosa, River & Rail, Rustic Mill, Sapore Di Italia, Subology, Tomasello Winery, Vanilla Bean Creamery, Venue 104 and Yumpanadas.
