72-Year-Old Man Dead After Crash Involving Truck In Union County
Both drivers were driving south at the time.
LINDEN, NJ — A 72-year-old man is dead after a crash with a truck on the New Jersey Turnpike on Wednesday night, New Jersey State Police said.
At around 8:30 p.m., troopers responded to mile marker 97.1 in Linden for a report of a vehicle crash.
According to preliminary findings, Adam Paduszynski, 72 of Matawan, was driving a Mercedes south along the outer roadway in the left lane when his car hit the front of a Freightliner truck that was also traveling south.

Ayendy Gonzalez, 22 of Passaic, was driving the truck and was not injured.
The crash is still under review.
