• Geleta Leads Phillipsburg Wrestling to Sweep at Cranford Duals (tapinto.net) — Cranford hosted the Cranford Duals wrestling meet, where Phillipsburg defeated both Cranford and Old Bridge in a busy Saturday of high school action. Senior standout Gavin Geleta led the way with two dominant wins, while several Stateliners teammates and a Cranford opponent were highlighted in a day packed with competitive bouts and emerging young talent.
   

• Chemical odors, evacuations follow massive fire at Roselle Park plant near Parkway (nj1015.com) — Cranford residents may have noticed smoke and chemical odors after a five-alarm fire at the Crossfield Products plant in neighboring Roselle Park, just off the Parkway near where North Avenue runs through Cranford. Firefighters from multiple Union County towns contained the blaze, nearby residents were briefly evacuated, and environmental officials are now monitoring air quality around homes and local businesses.
