Pete Davidson, Shailene Woodley Spotted Filming In Cranford
The two actors were seen shooting their new film 'Dumb Money' in Cranford Thursday morning.

CRANFORD, NJ — Yet another film is being shot in Cranford, and residents on the south side of town caught a glimpse of some famous celebrities Thursday morning.
Cranford resident Peter Burkle posted on a Cranford Facebook page that he spotted actors Pete Davidson and Shailene Woodley shooting a new film "Dumb Money."
Burkle shared that residents in the area received a notice from Roaring Stonk Productions that "Dumb Money," which is based on the book "The Antisocial Network" by Ben Mezrich, would be shot in the neighborhood this fall.

According to the production company, the film "recounts one of the biggest news stories of 2021, about a ragtag group of amateur investors, gamers and internet trolls who brought Wall Street to its knees by reviving the challenged brick-and-mortar video game retailer GameStop, making it the first so-called meme stock."
Besides Woodley, known for her roles in "Divergent" and "Big Little Lies," and Davidson, known for his role in "Saturday Night Live," other actors expected to be in the film include Paul Dano, Sebastian Stan and Seth Rogen, according to Deadline.

It is being directed by Craig Gillespie who also directed "I, Tonya" and Disney's "Cruella." It is being produced by Black Bear Pictures and will be distributed by Sony.
