Spring Academy to Celebrate Grand Reopening Saturday

The Grand Reopening and Ribbon Cutting celebration will include a variety of family-friendly activities including an art show and raffle.

The community is invited to the Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting of Spring Academy in Garwood from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28. Garwood Mayor Charles Lombardo and representatives from the Garwood Borough Council and the Westfield Chamber of Commerce will also attend the celebration.

The 2 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by a Chinese Art Show at 2:30 p.m., which will last for an hour. There will also be a Raffle Drawing at 3:30 p.m. The Grand Re-Opening will include a tour of the facility.

Kids and families who attend the event will also enjoy various activities, such as arts and crafts, games, cultural stands, dumpling making and tastings. Admission is free. The celebration is open to the community. Spring Academy is located at 211 Center Street in Garwood. For more information, call 908-301-6168.

About Spring Academy In Garwood

Spring Academy offers a 50 percent Montessori, 50 percent Chinese Immersion program to kids 2 1/2 to 6-years-old, according to the school’s website. The school also features an After School Care program and Summer Day Camp for children ages 2 1/2 to 11th grade, as well as various enrichment programs.
