WEATHER UPDATE: Cranford's Hour-By-Hour Forecast
Cranford can expect to see between 4 and 8 inches of snow this afternoon.

As the State of New Jersey declared a state of emergency, the National Weather Service’s winter storm warning for Cranford remains in effect through 7 p.m. Thursday, March 5.
Cranford can expect to see snow, mainly before 5 p.m, according to the NWS. The temperature will remain around 23 degrees, with wind chills values between 10 and 15, and possible daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches.

- 3 p.m. - 24 degrees, wind chill of 13, snow
- 6 p.m. - 21 degrees, wind chill of 9, chance of light snow
- 9 p.m. - 20 degrees, wind chill of 8, slight chance of light snow
- Midnight - 16 degrees, wind chill of 3, mostly clear, snow stops
Hazardous travel conditions will exist due to the inclement weather. The National Weather Service said, “hazardous travel conditions are possible due to greatly reduced visibilities and significant snow accumulations.”
