Cranford Police No Longer Directly Monitoring Security Alarms: See The Changes
The shift goes into effect on Thursday.
CRANFORD, NJ — Police in Cranford will no longer directly monitor residential and business alarms, the department said.
The change goes into effect on Thursday, and is due to a nationwide upgrade to telecommunications infrastructure.
Anyone with alarms should have received multiple notices and moved their service to a third party monitoring vendor.
