Film Festival: Two Chances to See Korkoro Today
The Summer International Film Festival continues today at the East Brunswick Public Library.
Come by the and catch a great movie during this summer's Summer International Film Festival. Sponsored by the Friends of The Library, the entries will be shown twice, once at 1:30 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
Korkoro France-2009-111 minutes-Not Rated. A family of Gypsies searching for work in France are interned when their nomadic lifestyle is outlawed during World War II. Marie-Josee Croze plays Mademoiselle Lundi, the French school teacher who tries to rescue them. Inspired by true events, this drama was written and directed by Tony Gatlif, a French national of Romany and Algerian descent, and is presented in French and Romany. Tuesday, July 31.
