Has The Water Meter Been Replaced At Your Home In East Brunswick?
The township is 75 percent done with the project and there are homes yet to replace the water meters, township officials said.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick is currently in the midst of replacing all residential water meters with electronic ones.
To this end, residents need to call the respective authorities and get started on the process, which is quite simple, according to township officials.
“It’s imperative that every resident that hasn’t had their water meter changed call and schedule a date to have their meter changed,” Business Administrator Joe Criscuolo said.

The township had earlier hoped to have all meters changed and the project completed by now. East Brunswick is now 75 percent done with the project Criscuolo said.
The Business administrator noted that there have been multiple notices sent to residents. The township will now send out final notices and then figure out what to do with “the outliers.”
Going forward, officials will be making the announcement on replacing water meters at every Council meeting.
