U.S.WNT Undefeated in 2012 Olympics
After a 1-0 win against North Korea, the squad has two days off before playing New Zealand on Friday.
After a win on Tuesday, the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team has two days off before facing off against New Zealand Friday in the next round of the 2012 London Olympics.
Abby Wambach scored the team’s lone goal Tuesday, leading the squad to a narrow 1-0 victory DPR Korea.
It was second start of the 2012 games, after coming off the bench in last week’s 4-2 win over France. Despite Tuesday’s win, O’Reilly and her teammates said there is still room for improvement.

“I definitely think it was a pretty sloppy game--a lot of passes that just maybe got away from us a little bit. And it was a physical match, I mean North Korea, they were definitely out to disrupt the rhythm of the game. But I think that we kept our composure well and we got the result that we needed,” O’Reilly said in an interview with ussoccer.com.
The U.S. will play New Zealand Friday at 9:30 a.m. EST.
