2 Confirmed Dead After Rt. 10 Construction Accident
Crane reportedly dropped generator in ditch; prosecutor's office still investigating.
HANOVER, N.J. - The second worker hurt in an work accident on Rt. 10 in Hanover Thursday was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
Just after 1:30 p.m. authorities announced one worker had been killed and another injured when a generator fell into a ditch at the site of the new Whippany Firehouse.
The incident occurred just after noon on Thursday.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is still investigating and said it won’t be releasing any further information Thursday.
