Credit Card Fraud Leads to Two Arrests, Cops Say
Pair charged with credit card fraud and theft after alleged incident at Target.

Two individuals were arrested recently for credit card fraud at Target, East Hanover Police said.
Gogolo Dahnsaw, 25, of Union, and Oluwaseun Jato, 22, of Newark, were each charged with credit card fraud and theft on Friday, Nov. 30.
Patrolman Randy Patner responded to Target at about 3:45 p.m. Nov. 30 after he received reports of possible credit card fraud. According to his report, the store's loss prevention officer said he observed a customer purchase gift cards with a credit card and then return to the store and purchase two iPads with the gift cards.

According to Patner's statement, he waited until Jato was exiting the store before he approached and asked about his purchases. Jato told Patner he purchased the iPads using gift cards bought on Craigslist, which Patner did not believe because he had seen the store's surveillance video of Jato purchasing the gift cards.
Det. Jack Ambrose located a stolen credit card in Oluwaseun's possession and Patner placed him under arrest, according to the report. Patner and Sgt. James Snow handcuffed and arrested Dahnsaw, who resisted, and both were transported to police headquarters.
The two were charged with theft of over $200 in goods and credit card fraud. Dahnsaw was also charged with resisting arrest, according to the report. They were processed and released after posting $5,000 bail in full, according to Patner's statement.
