Our Gymnastics program follows USAG/Xcel Gymnastics guidelines with safety and fun as top priorities. Our experienced instructors coach children on all events, incorporating body awareness, flexibility, strength, conditioning, and safety knowledge into every lesson. This enhanced program offers updated class structures, improved instruction, and an engaging pathway that builds physical strength, coordination, and flexibility, boosts confidence and self-esteem, and fosters social skills and teamwork. Beginning this fall session, Novice and Intermediate levels will enroll together, with coaches assessing each gymnast in the first two weeks to ensure the right placement for individual growth, setting the stage for skill development and success.

“We’re so excited to introduce our newly enhanced gymnastics program this fall,” said Christina Lopez, Gymnastics Director at the Madison Area YMCA. “With a refreshed class structure and personalized placements, every child can find their perfect fit, whether they’re just starting or ready to take their skills to the next level. Our goal is to help each gymnast grow in confidence, build strength and coordination, and create lasting friendships, all in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. We can’t wait to welcome families to an incredible season of gymnastics at the Y. Registration is open now!”
