East Hanover Cops Compete With Colleagues For Charity
East Hanover police officers went up against their Florham Park counterparts in the Funplex's First-Responders Challenge.

EAST HANOVER, NJ — In the end, everyone won.
The East Hanover Police Department won the First-Responders Challenge at the Funplex Monday. Officers faced-off against the Florham Park Police Department.
Although East Hanover won, rather than taking all the money and donating it to one charity, they decided to share it with the Florham Park Police Department, who will also donate the money to a charity of their choice.

Officers raced go-karts, bowled, and cooked boardwalk-style food that was judged by a three-person panel.
"Lots of smiles, laughs, and great food last night, and all to benefit a great cause, which quickly turned into two," said Funplex CEO Brian Williams. "What could be better? These two local police departments — with family and friends cheering from the sidelines — cooked, raced, and sweated it out."
