Florham Park Teachers Want a 'Fair' Deal
Florham Park Education Association requests pay raises to bring them to the level of teachers in neighboring school districts.

Florham Park teachers made a showing at Monday's Board of Education meeting to pressure the BOE to negotiate a contract that expired last June.
Some of the 150-member Florham Park Education Association (FPEA) came to the meeting with parents of their students, saying that the Board should enter into a "fair" three-year contract, according to the Florham Park Eagle.
FPEA officials had declared an impasse to negotiations in September, and a mediator has been appointed, NewJerseyHills.com said in an article. Among other items, the teachers are looking for pay hikes to bring them up to the levels of teachers in neighboring districts, such as Hanover and East Hanover.
