Council President Expected to Be Jandoli in East Hanover
Annual reorganization meeting scheduled for Wednesday night.

Carolyn Jandoli is expected to be named as the East Hanover Council President for another year.
Jandoli, a Democrat, will be sworn in for her next term on the East Hanover Council when the council meets for their reorganization meeting Wednesday.
After she is sworn in, the council will vote on the first resolution of 2013: a resolution designating Jandoli as the council president for the year.

Jandoli also served as council president in 2012 and 2011.
After the vote on the resolution, the council will vote on another resolution naming Vincent A. Pirone as the municipal judge. Pirone was the Land Use Planning Board in 2012, according to the East Hanover website.

In 2011 and 2012, the municipal judge was William J. Rush.
Other resolutions up for vote at the reorganization meeting Wednesday are:
- Matthew J. O'Donnell as township attorney
- James Giurintano, PE as Township Engineer.
- Michael Calabro as municipal prosecutor and Erin Cirelli as assistant prosecutor
- Gerould J. Goetz as public defender
- Birdsall Engineering, AWZ Engineering, and Louis R. Slaby Engineering as consulting engineers and water-sewer engineers. Slaby will also serve as planner, if approved.
The council will also vote on members and liaisons to various coounty boards and committees.
Mayor Joseph Pannullo will make several mayoral appointments to the Planning Board, the Library Board, the Environmental commission and the Board of Recreation Program Overseers.
The council will also vote on resolutions establishing the dates and structures for meetings, the dates for tax and utilities and other township business, plus a temporary budget to pay township expenses until the 2013 budget is passed.
