An Elizabeth motorist faces additional jail time after being found guilty of leading police on a chase through Florham Park.
Vambah Sherrif, 27, was found guilty Monday of a charge of second-degree eluding after one day of jury deliberations, according to acting Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.
Sherrif, who is currently incarcerated on a four-year term off of an Essex County conviction in 2012, faces 20 years with 10 years of parole ineligibility after the guilty verdict, Knapp said.

A Florham Park police officer was patrolling Route 24 East on the morning of Feb. 3, 2011, when he ran Sherrif's plates and learned that his driver's license was suspended. The officer stopped Sherrif, but the Elizabeth motorist sped away before the officer could reach the car.
A chase ensued in which Sherrif reached speeds near 90 mph on Route 24, Knapp said.
