Opening Day, BOE Meetings, Barbara Buono This Week

East Hanover Board of Education: The township school board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Board of Education Conference Room, 20 School Ave.

Opening Day: Florham Park Little League invites all to attend and come celebrate baseball season with a family-fun day on Saturday. Hundreds of Little League ballplayers and their coaches will hold their annual parade by marching from Holy Family Church's parking lot at 9:15 a.m. to Emmett Field #1 for ceremonies and festivities. Rain date is May 11.

Hanover Park Regional High School Board of Education: The regional school board meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Administration Building Conference Room, 75 Mt. Pleasant Ave., East Hanover.

Barbara Buono: The state senator and Democratic candidate for governor is scheduled to appear at an event sponsored by the Florham Park Democratic Committee on Tuesday.
