Passaic Ave. Still Closed In Florham Park After Trees, Poles Fall: PD
Police said eight power poles needed to be replaced and rewired; closures will last until at least Saturday morning.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — Crews are still working to replace a number of power poles in Florham Park, which has closed access to Passaic Avenue.
This affects traffic coming in and out of Chatham and Livingston, too. According to police, eight power poles needed to be replaced and re-wired.
Police said residents and commuters "should plan for its closure through (Saturday) morning at least, and maybe be pleasantly surprised if it is opened sooner."

Officers and the Office of Emergency Management advised residents to stay clear of the work area, as JCP&L is on scene and working.
"Stay clear of the work area and let's hope for good weather and endless caffeine!" officials wrote. "But most important is that the linemen stay safe, let's not make their job any harder."
