Matt Krause an 'Outstanding' Role Model at Whippany Park
High school senior was named as Whippany Park's Student of the Month for November.

When it comes to finding an "outstanding peer role model," Whippany Park High School recognized Matthew Krause for their Student of the Month in November.
In the last three years, Krause has made Whippany Park's honor roll multiple times and has maintained a "rigorous Honors and Advanced Placement schedule," teacher Catherine Maurer said.
Krause's academic achievements also include a spot as a National Merit Semifinalist and a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar. He was also elected by the Boys State Assembly to be a New Jersey Boys State Delegate.

Krause also has a four-year record of participation in the spring track team and wrestling team, for which he is currently the captain. He is on the Student Government Association, in the National Honors Society, Future Business Leaders of America, the Spanish Club and Interact, the school's service organization.
"A highly motivated, diligent, and respectful member of the Whippany Park community, Matthew has excelled in the academic, athletic, and co-curricular realm, marking him as an outstanding peer role model," Maurer said.
