The holiday season has arrived in East Windsor, bringing twinkling lights, cheerful events and plenty of ways to make memories close to home. From light displays to beloved local traditions, here are the hometown holiday highlights you won’t want to miss.

Magic of Lights (Tickets Required)
When: Now–Jan. 3, 2026 (closed Dec. 31) | Sundays–Thursdays: 5–10 p.m., Fridays–Saturdays: 5–11 p.m.

Returning for another year, take a quick trip down the parkway to the PNC Bank Arts Center and enjoy the spectacular light show. Whether you want to gather the family during a weekday or end a Saturday night on a high note, Magic of Lights will be open and waiting for you. Buy tickets online, jump in the car, tune your car radio to the station and prepare yourself for the show.

Festival of Trees (Tickets Required)

Making its 20-year return, the Festival of Trees is at Morven Museum & Garden. The momentous milestone also helps launch the museum’s role in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. Featuring beautiful trees and mantels, the festival continues to create a magical experience for all in attendance. For an added experience, those interested can purchase tickets on Dec. 7 for a Winter Soirée and enjoy a night of live music, culinary experiences and festive decor.

Christmas Tree Lighting
When: Friday, Dec. 5 | 5:30 p.m.
Where: Cranbury Fire Station | 2 South Main St., Cranbury, NJ
Take a quick drive down the street and enjoy the Cranbury Tree Lighting hosted by the Woman’s Club of Cranbury. The ceremony will feature the Cub Scout Flag Ceremony, Caroling with Brass Band and a visit from Saint Nick himself. Bring your family, enjoy some winter crafts and hot chocolate and start your holiday season off right.
Winter Wonderland
When: Friday, Dec. 5, 4:30–7:30 p.m. & Saturday, Dec. 6, 2–7:30 p.m.
Where: Kuser Farm Park | 390 Newkirk Ave., Hamilton, NJ
A family favorite in Mercer County, The Kuser Farm Park Winter Wonderland is making its return this holiday season. Festivities kick off the first Friday of December, when the lights begin to twinkle before the official tree lighting in front of the Kuser Mansion on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. If you can’t make it on Friday, you have another opportunity on Saturday to get in the holiday spirit, enjoy great food and even take pictures with Santa and other Christmas icons.

Christmas on the Farm
When: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Where: Howell Living History Farm | 70 Woodens Ln., Hopewell Twp., NJ
This year, Santa is coming to town by a different means of transportation; he’s traded in his sleigh for a steam tractor! Stop by Howell Farm for crafts, live music, farm animal visits and an opportunity to explore the decorated farm firsthand. Santa arrives at 12:30 p.m. so make sure you arrive early so you don’t miss him!

Holiday Artisan Market
When: Saturday, Dec. 6| 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Where: West Windsor Arts | 952 Alexander Rd., Princeton Junction, NJ
Created over 12 years ago, the Holiday Artisan Market offers unique, handcrafted items for holiday gifts. With over 15 local artisans, there’s going to be an array of items like delicately designed jewelry and those made of metal and glass, to ceramic ornaments and handcrafted bowls. If you can’t make the event, you can shop the market’s online store at any time.

Glow & Gather
When: Sunday, Dec. 14 | 1–4 p.m.
Where: 148 Cedarville Rd., East Windsor, NJ
If you’re cutting it close shopping for the holidays this year, head to Glow & Gather—a community-wide holiday market in town! Whether you’re looking to shop the gift market or have nice afternoon with holiday spirit (and maybe good music and food), this is the spot for you. Stay for the Menorah lighting at nightfall!
