Assault By Auto, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On Sept. 12, an officer arrested an Asbury Park resident for driving while intoxicated following a check on a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was running in the parking lot of the Windsor Hotel for an extended period of time and the officer saw the driver asleep behind the wheel. The 34-year-old was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
On Sept. 13, a West Windsor resident was charged with assault by auto and driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash investigation. A passenger involved received treatment for minor injuries. The woman was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law and issued a complaint summons pending court action.

On Sept. 14, a resident of Elizabeth was arrested for a warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 47-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and turned over to the custody of the NJ State Parole.
On Sept. 16, an East Windsor resident was taken into custody for Florence and Pemberton Township warrants following a pedestrian stop. The defendants were taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on their own recognizance.

On Sept. 17, a Plainsboro resident was taken into custody for a Robbinsville warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 35-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on her own recognizance.
