Bicycles Stolen from Hightstown Front Yard
A list of police reports that took place during the week of April 11 - April 17.

The following report is based on information released by Hightstown Borough police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On April 13 at 2:18 a.m. on Mercer Street, officers arrested William Graham, a 51 year-old man of Etra Road, Hightstown, and charged him with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane. While on patrol, officers observed the subject drive over the double center line on several occasions and effectuated a motor vehicle stop for the infraction. Upon stopping the subject, the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and had the driver perform field sobriety tests. The subject failed the tests and was taken into custody. The subject recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent and was later released to a friend with pending court action.

On April 13 between 5 p.m. and 5:57 p.m. unknown subject(s) entered onto the property of a resident in the 200 block of Stockton Street and stole two bicycles that were left on the front lawn. One bicycle was described as a Bianchi mountain bicycle valued at $500 and the other was a child’s bicycle, unknown make and model, blue and purple in color, valued at $100. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hightstown Borough Police Department.

On April 14 at 8 p.m. at the Hightstown Police Department, officers arrested James Yuhasz, a 48 year-old man from Cream Ridge and charged him with contempt of court. The subject turned himself into authorities on an outstanding traffic warrant issued for his arrest by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $1000. The subject was processed and later released upon posting bail with pending court action.

On April 14 at 11:18 p.m. on Franklin Street, officers responded to the 200 block for a report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave a residence. Upon the officers arrival they observed the intoxicated male subject attempt to strike another subject and placed the actor into custody. The subject taken into custody was identified as Melvin Gutierrez Centeno, a 42-year-old male of Princeton Arms, East Windsor, NJ. The subject was charged with disorderly conduct and was later released on a summons complaint with pending court action.
