Teens Threatened To Shoot Teacher, Bomb School: East Windsor Police
Two students were charged with terroristic threats on juvenile petitions, police said.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ β Two 13-year-old boys in East Windsor have been charged after they threatened to shoot a teacher and bomb Melvin H. Kreps school, police said Thursday.
On Monday, around 3:50 p.m., the boys left a βthreatening voicemailβ on the teacherβs sisterβs cell phone. They threatened to shoot the teacher and bomb and shoot up Melvin H. Kreps school, police said
After an investigation, East Windsor Police detectives identified the two 13-year-olds. Police said the boys did not have access to firearms.

There is no known credible threat to the school district at this time.
Both were charged with terroristic threats on juvenile petitions. Court action is pending, police said.

In a message to the school community on Thursday, Superintendent Mark Daniels said that the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office decided to press charges against both students, "due to the disturbing nature of the voice messages."
Daniels commended the school teachers and administrators for taking quick action in the case.
"I need to commend the MHK teachers and administration for the awareness, decisive
action, and diligence that was displayed throughout this situation," Daniels said.
"I am also appreciative of the district's continued partnership with local law enforcement. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is paramount."
