Car Strikes Utility Pole and Overturns on Route 130
East Windsor rescue workers helped extract and treat two people who were involved in a one-car motor vehicle collision which resulted in non-life threatening injuries.

Two people became entrapped in their car after it left the roadway, hit a utility pole, and flipped over on Route 130 North near Old Cranbury Road Thursday night.
East Windsor police arrived at the scene of the accident around 10:14 p.m. to find a 2011 red Kia resting on its roof. Anthony Saer, 72, of Monroe, was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
East Windsor Police, Cranbury Police, East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #1 and #2, and East Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad #1 and #2 were dispatched to the scene to help extract the two victims from the vehicle.
Capital Health Systems Paramedics helped treat Saer and the passenger; they were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries, East Windsor Police said.
Route 130 North and South were closed while police and rescue workers attended to the overturned vehicle and the victims. Route 130 was immediately reopened following the incident, police reported.
East Windsor Police and the Traffic Safety Unit and the Serious Collission Response Team of the Mercer County Prosecutorβs Office will be conducting an investigation into the cause of the one-car accident, which is undetermined presently. No charges have been filed.
