Driving While Suspended, Shoplifting: East Windsor Police Blotter

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On Aug. 21, an officer approached a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Windsor Hotel, 460 Route 33 East, and met with the occupants. The officer learned that one of the individuals had an active warrant out of Gibbsboro. The 24-year-old Marlton resident was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.
On Aug. 21, an officer observed an individual known to have an active warrant at the Twin Rivers bus stop. The officer placed the person under arrest and took him to police headquarters. The individual was processed and then transported to Mercer County Corrections.

On Aug. 25, an officer responded to ShopRite for a past tense shoplifting report. A man left the store without paying for $302.51 worth of merchandise. The officer identified the man and charged him accordingly.
On Aug. 26, an officer conducted a traffic stop after learning the registered owner had a suspended license and failed to properly signal his turn. The driver was also found to have active warrants out of Hamilton and was placed under arrest. The driver was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the Hamilton Police.
