Driving While Suspended, Warrant: East Windsor Police Blotter
The East Windsor Police blotter dated July 24 had the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On July 17, an officer stopped a vehicle because it did not have a license plate displayed. The driver was found to have a suspended license and active warrant out of Palmyra. The driver, a 41-year-old PA resident, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.
On July 18 an officer conducted a traffic stop after a registration check revealed the owner had an active traffic warrant out of New Brunswick. The officer confirmed the driver was the owner and placed him under arrest. The 58-year-old Manalapan resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.
On July 18, an officer stopped the vehicle in the parking lot after observing a headlight out and then noticing the passenger was not wearing her seatbelt. The passenger was found to have active warrants out of Lawrence and Trenton and was placed under arrest. She was taken to police headquarters, processed, and was transferred to the custody of the Lawrence Police.
