EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On March 9, 1:36 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after being alerted that the registered owner had an active traffic warrant out of East Windsor. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and was placed under arrest. The 43-year-old East Windsor resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.
On March 9, at 3:04 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after being alerted that the registered owner had a suspended license and active traffic warrants out of Trenton and Lawrence. The driver, an East Windsor resident, was confirmed to be the registered owner and was placed under arrest. The 40-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On March 11, at 10:42 a.m., an officer responded to ShopRite and met with loss prevention personnel who reported a past tense shoplifting. The suspect collected $24.27 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying for the items. The officer conducted a follow up investigation and identified the suspect, a 41-year-old East Windsor resident, who was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.
On March 12, at 4:36 p.m., an officer conducted a foot patrol on Abbington Drive where he observed an man with an open alcohol container. The man was found to have active warrants out of East Windsor and Hightstown. The 57-year-old East Windsor resident was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On March 12, at 9:59 p.m., an officer found an individual who was asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle in the parking lot of the Windsor Hotel. The man showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The officer also found open alcohol containers inside of the vehicle. The 36-year-old South River resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.
