Fraudulent Use Of Credit Card, False Report: East Windsor PD Blotter
The East Windsor Police blotter dated Jan. 16 had the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ β On Jan. 9 at noon, a woman visited police headquarters and reported that her wallet was stolen in Monroe Township on Sept. 3, 2024, and her credit card was fraudulently used at LukOil in East Windsor. The case was assigned to a detective who identified a suspect. The suspect, a 42-year-old East Windsor resident, was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Jan. 9 at 4 p.m., police identified a suspect in a past-tense shoplifting report from Walmart. On Dec. 27, 2024, an officer responded to Walmart for a past-tense shoplifting report. The suspect collected $695.20 worth of merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The suspect left prior to police arrival and the case was assigned to a detective. The detective identified a suspect as a 59-year-old Perth Amboy man and charged him on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Jan. 13 police charged a man for filing a false police report. The incident was from Jan. 8 when a detective received a report about a stolen vehicle. The detective investigated the incident and learned the vehicle was not stolen. The vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle collision in Pennsylvania and recovered by the Pennsylvania State Police. The individual, identified as a 27-year-old Westville, NJ resident was charged with filing a false police report on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Jan. 14, at 2:40 p.m., a detective responded to the area of 614 Route 33 East for a suspicious incident report. The detective spoke with the involved individual who was found to be in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine. The 34-year-old San Antonio, Texas resident, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released from police custody on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Jan. 15, at 8:49 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 133 West for speeding. The driver, an East Windsor resident was found to have a suspended license and active warrants out of East Windsor and Cranbury. The 23-year-old was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released after posting bail.
